Spring 2015 Oliver and Leah played T-ball. It was age 4-6 so they got to be on the same
team which is a big reason why we did it.
They had a really nice coach and for the most part they both liked it,
but it was a little too much just standing in the outfield since in T-ball only
the pitcher, catcher, and first baseman get much action. IT was fun going to their games which were
also mostly all their practices. The
last game Leah finally got the coach to pitch it to her instead of use the tee
and she got a great hit. Here are a few
pictures of them – the first ones are opening day. It is a HUGE deal and this is just our Hughesville league. The bigger leagues around do even more. They had a parade, bouncy castles, food, a
very long (my neck got sunburned) thing where they talk about all the teams and
each team is presented to the board, etc.
Fun times! Our kids favorite part
were the snacks after the game. Ha! My favorite part besides watching the kids
was that all the games were at the park which is in walking distance to our
house.
Leah playing catcher
Lance's favorite part was crawling all over the grass. Everyone thought he was so cute!
Autumn loved when the game was over and she could put on teh batting helmet - backwards, but she didn't care. Her not favorite part was when Leah and Oliver got snacks and she didn't. Some parents were nice and gave her some.
Both kids at bat.
